Kid-Friendly Dentistry

Kid-Friendly Dentistry

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child’s first dental visit should occur by the time the child turns one. A child’s first visit to the dentist should be enjoyable. Children are not born with a natural fear of the dentist, but they can fear the unknown. Our staff and facility is kid and family-friendly to ensure healthy habits start early. We want you and your child to feel at ease from the moment your family arrives at our office. The more you and your child know about the first visit, the better you will feel. Please inform the office if this is your child’s first dental visit.

Pit and Fissure sealants

Pit and Fissure sealants

Pit and fissure sealants are used to protect the chewing surfaces of back teeth from decay. These surfaces often decay because of the deep pits and grooves where the toothbrush bristles will not reach. Tooth sealants “seal” the deep grooves in your teeth, preventing decay from forming in these hard-to-reach areas

Routine Exams

Routine Exams, Digital X-Rays, Cleanings and Oral Cancer Screenings will help you to maintain your healthy smile and catch potential problems early.

Dental Hygienist and Cleaning

Dental Hygienist and Cleaning

A professional dental cleaning at least twice a year can improve your oral health according to the Academy of General Dentistry. Our gentle Hygienists work very closely with the dentist to ensure that your gums are kept clean and healthy.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Tooth Colored Fillings

Our dentists offer composite (white) fillings to treat decayed or damaged teeth. Our tooth-colored fillings are a popular choice to ensure filled teeth blend in with other teeth.

Crowns

Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is placed over a tooth to cover the tooth to restore its shape and size, strength, and improve its appearance.

The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants are made up of titanium posts that are surgically placed in the upper or lower jaw, where they function as a sturdy anchor for replacement teeth such as single-tooth crowns or multiple crowns fused together as a bridge

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is one of the easiest and fastest way to brighten your smile. There are many teeth whitening products out there to help you achieve a brilliant, bright smile. Our office has one hour in-office whitening and also professional take home whitening trays

Bridges

A dental bridge is an alternative to a dental implant, and consists of replacing a missing tooth. For a bridge to be fitted it requires treatment to the adjacent teeth or tooth. These are the teeth that are used to support a permanent false tooth across the gap.

Root Canals & Endodontics

A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. The inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed, so the teeth can function like normal. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.

Gum Disease

Gum Disease (aka periodontal disease) is an infection of the gums and tissues that support your teeth caused by plaque and tartar build-up. Our dentist and hygienist check for signs of gum disease to catch and treat it early.

Extractions, Wisdom Teeth & Oral Surgery

Extractions, Wisdom Teeth & Oral Surgery

There are times when it is necessary to remove a tooth including space issues with wisdom teeth. Our team of dentists and specialist can assess the need for an extraction and keep patients comfortable during and after the procedure.

Veneers

Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin, customized shells of high-quality dental porcelain that are designed to fit over the front surface of one or more teeth (like a false fingernail fitting over a nail). Veneers are natural in appearance and are a perfect option for patients wanting to make minor adjustments to the look and feel of their smile.

Sedation

Sedation

We understand that visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience for some. Sedation allows nervous patients to receive dental treatment in a more relaxed manner. As safety is our paramount priority, our dentists and Specialists will perform sedation dentistry in a specialized facility, specifically tailored for Sedation cases.

Orthodontic services (Braces)

We cater to the full range of orthodontic services for adults and children alike. All orthodontic treatment is undertaken by our friendly full-time orthodontist, Dr. Louise Wong
